Welcome to Alien AI Studio ("we," "us," "our"), operated under the alieninvasion.ai domain. We're an AI-powered image and video generation platform, and we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up for Alien AI Studio, we collect:
- Email address — used to create your account and send important service notifications
- Password — stored hashed (never in plain text) by our authentication provider, Supabase
- Display name (if provided) — shown on your public creations if you choose to share
- Optional wallet address — only if you voluntarily add one for token-based features (we do not connect to your wallet, you only type the address)
If You Sign In With Google
If you use Google's "Sign in with Google" feature, Google shares with us your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information solely to create and manage your Alien AI Studio account. We do not access any other data from your Google account.
Content You Create
When you generate images or videos using our platform, we store:
- The prompts (text descriptions) you submit
- The generated images and videos
- The model used and generation timestamp
- Whether you've marked the creation as public or kept it private
Usage Data
We may collect basic usage data including pages visited, features used, and approximate location (city/country level, derived from IP address) to improve the service.
Payment Information
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by PayPal. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or banking details. PayPal handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain Alien AI Studio
- Process AI generation requests on your behalf using third-party AI models (Google Imagen, BytePlus Seedance, xAI Grok, etc.)
- Manage your account, subscription, and credits
- Send service-related emails (sign-up confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts)
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
- Improve our service through aggregated usage analytics
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
4. Sharing & Third Parties
We share data with the following service providers, only as necessary to operate the platform:
- Supabase — provides authentication, database, and storage. Your account data lives here.
- Google (Imagen API) — receives the prompts you submit when generating images with Google's models. Your prompts may be retained by Google per their API terms.
- BytePlus / Seedance — receives prompts when generating videos.
- xAI (Grok) — receives prompts when using Grok models.
- PayPal — processes subscription payments.
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
5. AI-Generated Content
Important: Content generated through our platform is created by AI models trained on broad public datasets. We do not claim copyright over your generated images or videos — they are yours to use, with the limitations described in our Terms of Service.
If you upload a reference image (such as for the "Alien Me" feature), that image is sent to the AI provider for processing. Reference images you upload are not stored on our servers permanently — they are passed through to the AI model and the only output we keep is the generated result.
If you mark a generation as public, it becomes visible in our community gallery and shareable via link. You can mark any generation private (or delete it) at any time from your account.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies, only for:
- Authentication — to keep you signed in across visits
- Preferences — to remember your settings (e.g., chosen cursor effect style)
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your browsing data.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data:
- HTTPS encryption on all connections
- Hashed passwords (never stored in plain text)
- Database access restricted by row-level security policies
- Regular security audits of authentication and storage layers
That said, no system is 100% secure. If we discover a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you within 72 hours.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — see everything we have about you (visible in your account dashboard)
- Update your data — change your email, name, etc., from your account page
- Delete your data — request full account deletion at any time by emailing us. We will delete your account and all generations within 30 days, unless required by law to retain certain records (such as billing receipts).
- Export your data — request a copy of all your generations and account information
- Opt out of marketing — we currently do not send marketing emails, but if we ever do, you can unsubscribe at any time
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
9. Children's Privacy
Alien AI Studio is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
Users between 13 and 18 should review this policy with a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
